Our design concept focuses on seamlessly integrating
architecture into Green Square Town Centre’s urban
fabric, fostering social interaction and enhancing quality
of life for residents and the community. Located on the
eastern edge, adjacent to Gunyama Park, our proposal
serves as a pivotal focal point within this vibrant precinct.
Inspired by the Aboriginal word “Gunyama” and its
connection to wind, our architectural design incorporates
horizontal curvilinear balcony elements that evoke
rippling sands or water patterns influenced by wind.
The urban integration respects the local structure and street
hierarchy, with Building A acting as a central orientation point.
A proposed public through-site link across Rose Valley Way
leads to a central plaza, improving pedestrian safety and
connectivity within the precinct. This integration enhances
the public domain by activating streets and improving
permeability for pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles.
